Last Friday our rep Elise Venditti - and HoS friend Kylene Verde - hosted the first Ohio Scorpion Mezcal Tasting at Zocalo Mexican Grill & Tequileria in downtown Cleveland.

They showcased three recipes and gave away prizes, including hats and temporary tattoos with the Scorpion mezcal logo. Elise was excited to interact with everyone and educate them on mezcal, how it is different from - and similar to! - tequila, and what makes handcrafted Scorpion mezcal special.

Two lovely ladies took on the challenge of eating the scorpion from the bottle and won themselves tshirts to prove it! Check out more photos on Facebook.

Lots of people came out to party with the Voodoo Tiki team this past Wednesday evening at Kalahari Resort in Sandusky, Ohio.

B.E. Mann was on hand from 5-8pm to do what he does best - which is rockin’ the house with his high energy dancehall style reggae music.

Kalahari is always such a great place to do a promotional event because everyone is relaxed and in the vacation/party frame of mind.

Such was definitely the case this week, as our Tiki girls passed samples and the guests kicked back to relax with some great margaritas by the pool.

We met several nice folks who were enjoying the cocktails, and gave away some great prizes, too!

That’s Brennan, our Toledo sales rep, there in the photo. Doesn’t he look relaxed and happy? Brennan loves meeting people and putting smiles on their faces with Voodoo Tiki tequila.

The kids had great fun with the limbo contest. Our winner got the grand prize of several Voodoo Tiki branded giveaways.

As usual, the event was a great success and a GREAT TIKI TIME was had by all!

Even though the weather was less than agreeable, hundreds of die-hard Harley Davidson fans came out to Sandusky this past Tuesday evening to talk bikes, listen to a great live band and - surprise! - get introduced to some Prickly Pear Margaritas.

As we are finding to be the usual case, the people LOVED the world’s only prickly pear infused tequila. They had great fun drawing for prizes and we had great fun meeting and speaking to so many wonderful bike-riding Americans.

Kalahari Resort is a wonderful place for families and events. In fact, they have invited us back to do another Vooodoo Tiki promo on Wednesday, July 15 between 6pm and 9pm. There’ll be a live reggae band and the Tiki girls will be back to pass samples and brighten your day.

Two weeks ago we began the month of May with a flurry of Voodoo Tiki promo events around northern Ohio.

All four events that first week of May were a blast, everyone had a great time and the product is causing quite a bit of excitement as we slide into margarita season.

As we work to build our new relationship with Buffalo Wild Wings, three locations in northwest Ohio have notified us that they will be carrying Scorpion Mezcal.

You should see it hitting the back bar in the following locations sometime in May.
