Voodoo Tiki Tequila sponsored the first ever Margarita Bar at the zoo’s annual rock-out event, Twilight at the Zoo.

We had a great spot next to the bridge at the entrance to the VIP Party but word spread quickly through the area that there were some AWESOME margaritas to be had at our bar.

And lemme tell you, THEY WEREN’T LYIN’!

Two bartenders had their hands - and shakers - FULL with lines 10-15 people deep throughout the three hour VIP Party. We even earned some groupies who hung out with us all evening, drink after drink.

We were thrilled with the response and very happy to introduce so many people to our wonderful product.

A huge thank you to Rachel Fuller (Special Events Coordinator for the Cleveland Zoological Society) for inviting us, Annette Carruthers (Panda Promotions) for all her hard work and awesome ideas on the giveaways everyone enjoyed so much, and all the great TatZ attendees who were so friendly to us and helped spread the word and kept our bar mighty busy that night!

We were so well received that we have been invited back again next year. By that time, we will have our portable Tiki bar built and can welcome the attendees in style!

It’s always a good sign when you hear that the venue needs to re-order your product because of the quantity they sold through on a promo night. And such was the case on Friday at Zocalo Mexican Grille and Tequileria.

It was a beautiful summer evening and people were eager to come in and try this brand new product. We did not disappoint. The prickly pear margaritas were selling like crazy and everyone enjoyed the selection of classic and infused libations that make Voodoo Tiki tequila such a pleasure to have in your bar.

At long last, Voodoo Tiki tequila is coming to Ohio.

June 1 marks the date it is officially available to the Ohio public - and just in time to kick off the summer months.

The House of Spirits will be teaming up with the fine people from Zócalo Mexican Grille and Tequilería in downtown Cleveland to host the biggest Tiki party of the season.

Check our Events page often for developing news on when the official launch party will be held. And then throughout the entire summer to follow Johnny Tiki and his band of Friki Tikis.
